This event is sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Simi Valley and features non-stop entertainment, food, and a free fun zone sponsored by Adventist Health Simi Valley. Gates open at noon, and limited on-site parking costs $20, with parking and shuttle service available from the Simi Valley Metrolink Station and Simi Valley High School.

The Thousand Oaks July 4th Spectacular with Fireworks is a popular event organized by the Conejo Recreation and Park District. The event features a fireworks show that begins at 9 p.m. and patriotic music. The best places to view the fireworks are at the Janss Marketplace and The Oaks mall parking lots. Westlake Village 4th of July Parade and Fireworks Spectacular
