After 20+ years in sales, management, and mortgage banking, I've discovered that the secret sauce isn't just knowing market stats (though I do)—it's thinking outside the box when everyone else is stuck inside it.
The numbers tell part of my story: Over $376 million in sales volume with 327 families served and counting. But here's what the numbers don't capture: the 84-year-old father I hand-held through selling his 60-year-old home, or the first-time buyer who texted me in a panic at 11 PM (yes, I responded).
My unconventional journey took me from averaging 163% to quota in telecom sales, through the analytical trenches of mortgage underwriting at Countrywide and Bank of America, to founding my own mobile dry-cleaning business (profitable in 2.5 months, thank you very much). Each chapter taught me something crucial: people don't just buy products—they buy the person behind them.
